Lydia Smith is a Media and Social Change student at Ohio University. In 2020, she founded Buffed Film Buffs, a film and TV review blog, for which she serves as editor-in-chief. In addition to writing, she directs and edits shorts for a campus sketch comedy show. Lydia hopes to bridge her interests between journalism, advocacy and the arts by analyzing international films and their corresponding sociopolitical contexts. She thinks that film festivals are the perfect place to make those connections.
