Visiting Cincy
Step into Cincinnati, where the city itself becomes part of your festival experience. Between screenings, explore vibrant streets, discover local flavors, and soak in the art, culture, and energy that inspire the films on our screens. Every corner of the city offers a new story to complement the ones you’ll see at the festival.
Getting Here:
Flying into the area is easy and convenient. Choose whichever airline is most comfortable for you. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is the closest major airport, just 15–20 minutes from downtown by car or ride share. CVG serves a wide range of U.S. and international destinations and is known for being friendly and easy to navigate.
To CCF by train: Amtrak’s Cardinal Line stops at Cincinnati Union Terminal, just west of downtown. The terminal is an Art Deco landmark and doubles as a fascinating history museum.
By car and an easy drive from these surrounding cities:
Columbus 1.5 hours
Indianapolis 2 hours
Louisville 1.5 hours
Chicago 4.5 hours
Nashville 4.5 hours
We recommend using park-and-walk garages near downtown or your hotel. Our festival venues are centrally located and pedestrian-friendly.
How to Get Around:
Getting around downtown Cincinnati is easy and convenient. The city is walkable, bikeable, and well-served by shuttles. You can hop on the free Connector streetcar (Cincinnati) or Southbank Shuttle (Kentucky) to reach key neighborhoods, use festival shuttles from partner hotels, or grab a ride share with Uber or Lyft.
RedBike rentals and traditional rental cars are also widely available, giving you plenty of options to explore the city between festival events.
Where to Stay:
We’ve partnered with The Radisson Hotel on the River to offer discounted rates for attending filmmakers and festival-goers. The hotel is just 2 miles from our main festival hub and provides shuttles every 30 minutes for easy access to festival events.
