Helen Mavourneen Farrell is a physician, artist, and filmmaker. An award-winning Harvard psychiatrist, she brings sensitivity to her stories which capture the complex dynamics of interpersonal relationships. Following the success of her TEDx talk, Creating Hope for Mental Health, Helen Mavourneen Farrell partnered with TED-Ed and wrote three scripts that were adapted into animated short films. These have had a positive worldwide impact on wellness and over forty million views! Birds of a Feather is Helen Mavourneen's first animated short film for which she is the writer, producer, director and narrator. She is passionate about spreading joy to audiences and fostering deep thought and conversation through her art.
